"The show is going to be a night to remember" that was the promise made for this Nordic Metal Mayhem Tour and it was indeed kept: so, here is the tell of a powerful evening in Paris, on Sunday 28th, 2007 with NOCTURNAL RITES, THUNDERSTONE and CAST IN SILENCE :)

Nice place, stage and atmosphere, so everything seemed to be at its finest for the night to start and here came CAST IN SILENCE on stage in order to set La Boule Noire on fire. The German band plays a Hard Heavy Rock with energy and a lot of emotion all through the songs. The audience didn't seem to really know the band but step by step the connection between band and attendance went better and better and everyone finally clapped hands, saluting then the good music the band performed. To conclude the gig, an achieved cover of "Voyage, Voyage" the French hit of the eighties, sang in French and boosted with powerful rhythm and guitars conquered the whole audience.  Well done CAST IN SILENCE ! :)

NOCTURNAL RITES and THUNDERSTONE are co-headliners for this autumn tour and so were the Finnish musicians on second place to play. The audience welcomed them in a warm way since the beginning of their concert. The songs being mostly well known by the whole audience, the gig was performed at all the levels possible in a really efficient way, so, it's easy to understand how successful the band was that night in Paris, especially with their new singer and a young keyboards player of course there as musician for the tour but even though totally involved in the feeling of the music: just imagine him playing the keyboards in every possible position and you'll find out how it was like ;) No one wanted THUNDESTONE to give an end to this great concert and when finally the time has come to conclude the set, everybody cheered the band as they deserved: with a bunch of clapping hands :)

In the field of great band and concert, Sweden has an asset too. Just like their talented colleagues, NOCTURNAL RITES managed to show to everyone what real energy, fun and pleasure to play, to be there could mean. It's quite simple: the whole crowd went crazy, screaming, waving hands, headbanging to the sound of hell the band delivered.

Both band and attendance shared the same pure pleasure a Heavy Power Metal at its best can give.
